– About La Cigogne –
The story about two French men who left France and risked it all for the American dream. With no experience in the restaurant industry, both started as busboy and dishwasher.
Years passed, both learned their way up and built a strong knowledge and experience in hospitality. In 2014, they decided it was time for them to be their own bosses.
With no investors or family inheritance, they used their own savings and signed a lease at 215 Union St on a cold March evening. After four long months of renovation (most of it done by them), La Cigogne (the stork in English) opened its doors on June 9th, 2014.
Located in Carroll Gardens, one of the best neighborhood in Brooklyn.
This French duo combines skills and quality on both ends: creativity and cleverness.
